Loyalty program

A loyalty program is a structured scheme that rewards repeat visits with points, perks, or status, turning occasional guests into regulars.

A loyalty program can be points per dollar, a visit punch, or tiers, but its real product is a habit and a data trail: it gives a guest a reason to come back and gives you a reason to capture their contact details (First-party data, with an Opt-in). Guests are receptive, since 81%, and 96%.

The value to the business is retention economics. A returning member costs nothing to reacquire and steadily lifts Customer lifetime value (CLV) and your Retention rate, which is why a few loyal regulars can outweigh a burst of one-time traffic. Most members now expect it on their phone rather than a paper card, as 60%. Keep the rules simple, because a program guests cannot understand is a program they will not use.

Loyalty platforms (Thanx, Punchh, Paytronix, Marsello, Ovation, Owner.com) run the points, tiers, and automated rewards, and feed a Win-back campaign the moment a member goes quiet. See loyalty and retention.
